Lead Paint Law Municipality Requirements Now Available

Beginning July 22, 2022, lead paint inspection and remediation will be required for residential one- and two-family rental properties upon tenant turnover or by July 24, 2024, if there is no tenant turnover.

There are two types of lead paint inspections, visual and dust wipe sampling, and the required test varies depending on the municipality. Click here for the full list of towns and the required test.
