Here are the unofficial results of New Jersey primary elections held on Tuesday, June 6, including several hotly contested bids for state Senate and Assembly nominations.
The outcome of the primary elections will determine which candidates will represent the two major political parties in the November general election. Winners of the later election will serve in both houses of the state Legislature — the governing body in Trenton that crafts the state’s laws and passes the state budget.
The results below, compiled by the Associated Press, will be updated throughout the night, so please check back later or refresh the page to see the latest tallies. The numbers will be updated overnight and during the upcoming days as mail-in ballots and provisional ballots are counted.
Note: The vote totals in uncontested primary races will not be listed below.
